Example

Input

Content: WIFI:S:MyNetwork;T:WPA;P:MyPassword;;
Size: 300 px · Margin: 4 · Error correction: High (30%)
Colours: #000000 on #ffffff

Output

A 300 px PNG QR code. Scanning it with a phone camera offers to join the Wi-Fi network "MyNetwork" with the password "MyPassword".

Frequently asked questions

Which error-correction level should I choose?

Higher levels let a damaged or partly covered code still scan: Low restores about 7% of the data, Medium 15%, Quartile 25% and High 30%. High is the most reliable choice for print, at the cost of a denser code.

How do I make a QR code for Wi-Fi?

Pick the Wi-Fi Network preset and replace the network name after S:, the security type after T: (for example WPA) and the password after P:. Most phone cameras then offer to join the network when they scan it.

Can I use custom colours?

Yes. You can set both the QR colour and the background colour. Keep the contrast high, with a dark code on a light background, so that every scanner can read it.

What format is the downloaded file?

The code downloads as a PNG image. Choose a larger size if you plan to print it.
